Sound Recording and Editing

Sound can provide those elements that is not included in the visuals. For example: just using a sound of train in succession tells audience that the location is near by a railway station or railway track. It may not be in the actual location where the video/ film was shoot. But with this design we can give the film in new dimension. A Sound editor is a creative professional responsible for selecting and re-arranging various sounds with created or recorded sound tracks. He/she should have skill, sense and aesthetics along with techniques that will be tried to impart. Proper selection and placing in the right spots in relation to the visuals and suitable mixing gives a production a final look. Now a days location sound also provides new aspects in film making. The course of sound recording and editing of PVTI is also designed with an eye in this regard. Popular software like Protools MPowered 9, Nuendo, FL studio 9 is included as the sound recording and mixing software in PVTI.
