Video Editing – Basic

The editor handles raw material of moving pictures and sounds. Cutting and polishing them into a finished product. Video editing which is essentially assembling TV programs, is a creative activity. The entire process of creative film and television art lies in the techniques of editing. Proper use of spoken words, Music and sound effect is important for effectively editing the program. Laying of the sound track to match the picture and dubbing of dialogues is the responsibility of the editor. The students are trained to work with professional grade non-linear editing equipment.

Classes will be held three days in a week i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Duration of class: 2 hours 45 mins (Morning 10 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. or Afternoon 1.45p.m. to 4.30 p.m.)

Educational Qualification

Any candidate that has passed out the H.S.L.C. or any equivalent examination to it can get admitted to this course. The candidate should have the working knowledge in English as well as the basic knowledge of computer.
